SUBMERSIBLE VEHICLE Russian patent published in 1999 - IPC

Abstract RU 2131376 C1

FIELD: shipbuilding; designing of submersible vehicles. SUBSTANCE: submersible vehicle includes pressure and outer hulls, power source, horizontal and vertical propulsion motors with propellers, ballast and trimming tanks, planes, rudders and control mechanism. Three hydrostatic engine kinematically linked with horizontal and vertical propulsors and inboard oxygen plant are arranged inside outer hull. When storage battery is charge, motion of submersible vehicle is effected by means of propulsion motors. When storage battery is discharged, motion of submersible vehicle is effected by means of hydrostatic engines which also set in motion propulsion motors which operate as DC generators in this case recharging the storage battery and supplying power to oxygen plant which operates by method of electrolysis of sea water. EFFECT: improved service characteristics of submersible vehicle. 7 cl, 18 dwg
