FIELD: rocketry and space engineering; injection of payloads into orbits at aerodynamic braking in atmosphere. SUBSTANCE: spacecraft includes case, control system, engine and swivel propellant tanks evenly distributed over perimeter of cross-section of spacecraft case. Propellant tanks are secured in tail section of spacecraft case; they perform function of aerodynamic braking device of spacecraft. Sections of additional braking shield made from flexible heat-resistant material are secured on tanks. Braking shields may be made in form of tapes perpendicular to longitudinal axis of spacecraft. EFFECT: enhanced reliability of spacecraft in maneuvering in atmosphere; enhanced efficiency of deployment of braking device of spacecraft. 2 cl, 6 dwg
