FIELD: gas industry; shutoff devices to provide tightness of units at pneumatic tests and to stop from outside line cock flare vents in gas pipelines. SUBSTANCE: quick-release plug has adapter between pipe and plug, front and rear shutoff members, jet, rear shutoff member travel stop and outlet tube with valve. Passage area of outlet tube is 5-10-fold greater than passage area of jet. The latter is arranged on one axis with outlet tube. Shutoff members made in form of two cups form closed space in between. Cups are installed coaxially relative to each other and are in contact through gasket. rear shutoff member travel stop is made in form of posts which are rigidly secured on adapter and are in contact with projections of rear shutoff member in operating position.
