FIELD: automatic telemetry systems for measuring liquid levels in petroleum, chemical, mining and food industries, car, railroad, sea and river transport, agriculture, water supply and draining systems. SUBSTANCE: device has measuring and compensating tubes, two electroacoustic converters which are connected to noise signal generator, two microphones, serial circuit of two preliminary amplifiers, which are connected to outputs of microphones, two analog-to-digital converters, two first Fourier transform units, two logarithmic units, two second Fourier transform units, two detectors of maximal spectrum function. Outputs of latter units are connected to unit for calculation of level of liquid, which output is connected to liquid level indicator. EFFECT: increased stability to noise, precision and speed of level detection. 1 dwg
