FIELD: water-supply systems. SUBSTANCE: filter is used in water-supply and drainage arrangements in equipment of water-intake part of wells. Filter has supporting rods, wound profiled wire or selective rings or strips made of plastic material or of propylene. They crate horizontally located slots. Made in their external surface are additional horizontal hemispherical recesses. These hemispherical recesses are parallel to main horizontal slots. They are of similar width and are connected with main horizontal slots for passing of water being filtered coming from additional recesses inside filter. Application of aforesaid embodiment of filter ensures higher porosity of filters, their permeability, longer service life, and reduction of power needed for lifting water.
