FIELD: arms, in particular, trigger mechanisms of sporting guns. SUBSTANCE: shneller sear is made as a double-arm lever. The lever front arm is furnished with two safety teeth. One tooth engaged with the hammer catches the latter at its spontaneous upset. The other tooth engaged with the hammer at cocking of the hair-trigger prevents shneller cocking at a released hammer thus preventing a shot at subsequent cocking of the hammer. Engagement of the safety teeth with the hammer is accomplished through a pin rigidly installed in the hammer. EFFECT: enhanced safety of gun handling due to prevention of hair-trigger cocking at a released hammer, and prevented shot at a spontaneous hammer upset. 2 cl, 3 dwg
