FIELD: rocket armament. SUBSTANCE: jet projectile has a sustainer stage and a large-caliber engine joined to it by means of the joining-separation device. The joining device is made as a flange-diaphragm with an external ring bulge and conical- necked nut-fairing. The end of the stern of the sustainer stage is made as a bush with a similar reverse counter-part ring bulge. The ring bulges of the flange- diaphragm and sustainer stage are joined to each other by means of ring sector cams with a trapeziform external groove resting on the tapered peripheral surface of the disk secured on the front end of the pusher of the separation mechanism. The disk is made with T-shaped grooves parallel to its peripheral surface, the grooves accommodate T-shapes lugs of the sector cams. The separation mechanism is a pusher, whose rear end in the form of a hollow piston with obturating grooves and bottom with orifices, is installed in the tensioner body. The piston interior accommodates a bush with an electric fuse and restrictor, and a ball locking device is positioned between the tensioner body and pusher piston. EFFECT: reliable joining of different-caliber stages of projectile in flight, and their reliable disconnection at a preset moment of time at minimum action of disturbances on the sustainer stage at engine separation. 5 dwg
