FIELD: refrigerators. SUBSTANCE: coolant is supplied to evaporator of freezing chamber and then, to evaporator of refrigerating chamber. Freezing chamber evaporator is connected with refrigerating chamber evaporator. Temperature in freezing chamber is controlled. In compliance with lowering or increasing of preset temperature limit values in one of chambers, supply of coolant to evaporator is ceased or resumed, respectively. Ceasing or resumption of coolant supply is effected with consideration of preset temperature limit values determined in refrigerating chamber. If upper temperature value in freezing chamber exceeds the preset value, air circulation is effected periodically in it and which is discontinued upon attaining the lower limit value of temperature in freezing chamber. EFFECT: higher efficiency of evaporation of evaporating chambers, reduced time of attaining the preset temperature in chambers, higher accuracy of temperature control and reduced power consumption. 3 cl, 1 dwg
