FIELD: construction engineering. SUBSTANCE: foundation for turbo-generator set has lower slab and upper structure which is made up of lateral span-pieces, longitudinal girders and posts. Components of foundation upper structure are made with continuous lateral through-openings and are provided with wedging-out loading devices which allows for changing stressed condition of components. Wedging-out loading devices are located inside lateral through-openings in upper structure and they are actuated by means of hydraulic power cylinder. Application of aforesaid embodiment of foundation allows for efficient regulation of resonance frequency of foundation components in process of its operation. Also amount of material needed for constructions reduced. EFFECT: higher efficiency. 4 dwg
