FIELD: bore-hole drilling technology. SUBSTANCE: this invention can be used in designing, manufacture, and operation of drill bits. Rock-crushing tip of drill bit tooth is located in strip over periphery or over entire area of upper part of tooth base. Tip of bit tooth and its working edge are made as figures with enclosed or open contour. Adjacent opposite parts of edge of rock-crushing tip are made at determined distance from each other. Made in center of upper part of tooth base is additional convex rock-crushing tip. Design of aforesaid bit tooth allows for utilization of effect of interdependence of adjacent parts of working edge of tooth tip and tip itself and brings its influence on volume of rock matter being crushed together with increasing mechanical speed of bore-hole drilling and length of bore-hole drilled per bit.
