FIELD: aviation single-shaft turbojet engines or turbofan engines. SUBSTANCE: thrust reverser of turbojet engine has rotary shutters integrated into external wall of exhaust duct of given turbojet engine in position corresponding to condition of direct thrust and forming obstacles for deflection of gas stream in developed position facilitating thrust reversing of turbojet engine. Mentioned rotary shutters are mounted for rotation about their axles installed in immobile side beams where system controlling travel of these shutters is also situated. Beams are made sufficiently wide with relation of beam width to length of exhaust duct of turbojet engine amounting to 0.6 as minimum. Rotation axles are arranged in center of pressure of internal wall of each rotary shutter so that they ensure stable position of undeveloped shutter which in this case tend to equilibrium in direction of self-shutting. EFFECT: avoidance of tendency to self- opening of shutters and/or reduced effect of aerodynamic losses across outlet from thrust nozzle. 7 cl, 10 dwg
