FIELD: chemistry. SUBSTANCE: process includes extrusion of pipe from thermoplastic material and its subsequent fitting on mandrel at temperature of orientation of thermoplastic material. Mandrel has expanded part that creates expansion in direction of pipe circumference. Unit controlling velocity of pipe acts on it ahead of expanded part of mandrel to apply axial force to pipe. Drawing means acts on pipe after mandrel to apply axial stretching effort to pipe. Cooling acts on thermoplastic material of outer layer of wall of pipe ahead of unit controlling velocity of pipe. Material of outer layer of wall of pipe is heated to temperature which is below temperature of orientation of material. Outer layer is so thick that it endures force applied by unit controlling velocity of pipe. EFFECT: invention makes it possible to manufacture oriented pipes and tubings during uninterrupted accurately controlled process. 6 cl, 3 dwg
