Index of non-attended intermediate node before broken piece of remote power supply circuit is calculated using equation , where I_opp is test current in broken piece of remote power supply circuit in opposite direction with respect to remote power supply current, I_dir is test current in broken piece of remote power supply circuit in same direction as remote power supply current, I_na is current of non-attended intermediate node, when test source has opposite voltage polarity with respect to polarity of remote power supply voltage.
