FIELD: mechanical engineering; materials handling facilities for use in ships, railway cars and other containers. SUBSTANCE: device has gantry installed for movement parallel to ship or other container and boom installed in gantry for lifting, lowering and rotating. Cup elevator is hinge - mounted on end of boom. Elevator has two feed-and-load augers on its lower enclosing end operating towards each other and positively set into motion. Augers are arranged across elevator which is secured on bottom in point of axis of rotation. Elevator is installed for reciprocating by means of hydraulic devices at simultaneous movement of boom upwards or downwards to displace lower end of elevator parallel to ship or other container bottom.
