FIELD: transportation systems. SUBSTANCE: this relates to installation of functional modules on supporting structure of tracked transportation facilities and particularly of magnetic suspended roads. According to method at least two functional modules are installed exactly according to design with respect to each other. First functional module is provided with positioning members which are inserted into specially provided through-holes in cantilevers of supporting structure. Then first functional module is fixed. After that, second functional module is installed on same positioning members. In device for realization of aforesaid method, positioning members are preferably made of specific configuration so as at same time to perform fastening function. Application of aforesaid method and device allows for simplification of process for installing functional modules. EFFECT: higher efficiency. 10 cl, 4 dwg
