FIELD: gas production industry. SUBSTANCE: this relates to isolation of bottom water in gas and gas-condensate wells. According to method, injected into pump-compressor pipes after stopping of well are liquid hydrocarbons, and well is started for operation after certain period of time. Predetermined amount of liquid hydrocarbons is injected in portions after certain periods of time. Applied in function of liquid hydrocarbons are used petroleum products with addition of surface-active substances which contribute to waterproofing of collector rock matter in bottom-hole zone. Beside that, injection of liquid hydrocarbons is undertaken at appearing traces of brine in gas well product. Application of aforesaid method widens its potential use and cuts cost of operations.
