FIELD: sanitary engineering, applicable in stop, control valves and hydrants, mixers for liquid flow-rate and temperature control inclusive. SUBSTANCE: the valve head comprises a body, handle with a stem secured to it, sealing ring and a locking device unit. The latter consists of ceramic disks with protrusions around the outside diameter: the lower fixed disk and the movable one. The fixed disk has openings. The movable disk is engageable with the stem and stretched out along the axis. The locking device unit is additionally furnished with an upper movable disk with a central hole. The diameter of the central hole corresponds to the stem diameter. The movable disk has a recess in the center in the form of a rectangular groove. The larger side of the rectangular groove exceeds the stem diameter. The stem engageable with the disk in the lower part is made in the shape of the groove whose height is less than the recess of the latter in the disk. The above stem in the upper part over the cavity accommodating the locking device unit is made as an annular groove. The latter is filled with a thrust ring. A gasket is installed above the upper fixed disk of the unit. EFFECT: enhanced reliability of the valve head design, enhanced service life. 4 dwg
