FIELD: cleaning gases of dust. SUBSTANCE: two-stage dust collector includes first and second apparatuses; each apparatus is made in form of cylindrical housing with tangential inlet branch pipe, axial outlet branch pipe and dust discharge branch pipe and fan whose inlet is connected with axial outlet branch pipe of first apparatus; its inlet is connected via first pipe line to tangential inlet branch pipe of second apparatus. First and second apparatuses are made in form of dust collector with opposite twisted flows of gas; each apparatus is provided with inlet swirler and branch pipe with dust baffle taper washer mounted in lower portion of housing and interconnected together; inlet of fan is connected via second pipe line to inlet swirler of second apparatus whose dust discharge branch pipe is connected by means of third pipe line with inlet swirler of first apparatus whose tangential branch pipe is connected with outlet of source of gas being cleaned; its dust discharge branch pipe is fitted with sluice gate.
