FIELD: mining industry and construction engineering. SUBSTANCE: driving unit can be used in hand-held dynamically balanced mechanisms or as mounted equipment. Hydraulic percussion driving unit has body with pressure passage and return passage. Located in body is striker with rod. Seated on rod is differential bush which is adapted for axial displacement. Smaller area of differential bush is located in pressure space which is permanently connected with pressure passage. Larger area of differential bush is located in return space. Hydraulic percussion driving unit is provided with valve which is coaxially mounted on striker rod in return space. This valve is adapted for interaction with end-face of differential bush and with hydraulic accumulators which are made in the form of spring-biased balancers with rods. Each of rods is located in space which is permanently connected with pressure space. Axes of rods of balancers are parallel to striker axis. If striker momentum is equal to sum of momentums of balancers with rods and is opposite in sign of aforesaid sum, then mechanism allows for reduction of vibration transmitted to operating person or base machine down to permissible values. Aforesaid embodiment of hydraulic percussion driving unit features higher efficiency as compared with other designs of same purpose. EFFECT: higher efficiency. 4 cl, 3 dwg
