FIELD: measuring variables in automated control systems of technological processes. SUBSTANCE: transducer includes sensor which determines primary variable of process such as pressure differential and converter for converting the variable of process being determined into digital form. Errors pertaining to numbering are compensated for. To this end, storage of transducer stores at least two composite functions and set of compensating formulae each of which corresponds to definite composite function. Selection circuit of transducer selects those composite functions which have magnitude other than zero on numbered variable of process; correcting circuit provides for at least one correcting magnitude calculated from compensation formula corresponding to selected composite function. Weighing circuit multiplies each corrective magnitude by its respective selected composite function and sums up multiplied magnitudes for obtaining the compensated variable. EFFECT: enhanced accuracy of measurements at rather small scope of calculations. 17 cl, 7 dwg
