FIELD: stamping. SUBSTANCE: stamping device with application of dye in the upper position, comprising fastening frame 6 for stamping insert 3, which is guided by side parts 6 of the fastening frame and by means of traversing mechanism 5,7,8 can move between the position of dye application in contact with dye-pad 2 and stamp position by means of U-shaped control clamp 21 made of metal, actuated by hand, connected to the stamping insert for movement relative to the fastening frame against the spring action; the frame carrying the stamping insert with traversing mechanism 4 is inserted mainly in parallelepiped external body 1 of plastic material, in whose both side parts 14 provision is made for spaces for location of the arms of the fastening frame, and space 15 for location of compression springs 16, respectively, arms 21' of the control clamp that is positioned in external frame 22 of plastic material, whose side parts 22' also enter both spaces 15 for accommodation of the compression springs.
