SUBSTANCE: turbine frame in gas-turbine compartment mounts box-section shield placed around turbine location; inner wall of shield is disruptive possessing no damping properties and outer wall is non-disruptive; wall-to-wall clearance equals at least maximum linear dimension of disrupting fragments of turbine parts. Shield width is chosen considering turbine length along engine axis and probable radial deviation from fragment path. Such shield enables catching fragments of disrupting turbine disks and blades eliminating their rebounding. EFFECT: improved safety, reduced scope of repair work in gas-turbine compartment in case of turbine disruption. 1 cl, 3 dwg
