FIELD: clay materials. SUBSTANCE: invention relates to additives affecting mechano-structural properties of clay materials and can be used for sand blends and drilling muds. Additive contains phosphorus substance, namely purified complexing hexamethylenetetramine methylphosphorylation product containing nitrilotrimethylphosphonic acid (20-40%), methyliminodimethylphosphonic acid (5-15%) and water. EFFECT: increased rupture strength in moisture condensation zone, increased flowability of sand blends and decreased their crumbling, increased yield of drilling muds. 3 tbl
