FIELD: machining of part surfaces by means of ultrasonic vibrations and shots. SUBSTANCE: the device for finishing-hardening machining of parts operates from a generator feeding ultrasonic vibrations through a magnetostriction transducer to the machined surface of "spider" part making the working tool (steel balls) intensively move inside the chamber striking the part surface thus hardening it. The steel balls make up an intermediate tightly packed medium. The part is machined both by means of shots and ultrasonic vibrations, as well as in combination variant.
