SUBSTANCE: bile of patient is mixed with beta-lactam antibiotics, solutions are incubated at 0 C and 37 C for 3-5 h and an optical density value is determined at the range 230-242 nm. The sensitivity of bilicultures to the analyzed antibiotics is determined at decrease of an optical density of the sample incubated in the thermostat by less 0.08 unit of optical density at any region of wavelength studied.
