FIELD: generation of discrete agglomerates and their ejection in air. SUBSTANCE: device has ejection zone supplied with voltage to build up electric field in it; liquid containing material in the form of fragments is then fed to ejection zone. Oscillating voltage (signal A) is supplied to ejection zone; mentioned voltage is lower than that required to cause ejection of particles from ejection zone; ejection voltage (signal B) is superposed onto oscillating voltage to add the latter to it so as to obtain total voltage in ejection zone exceeding threshold value required for ejection. EFFECT: improved control and reliable entrance in zone where desired conditions are maintained. 6 cl, 9 dwg
