FIELD: communication equipment using cyclic redundant code and lattice code. SUBSTANCE: device provides generation of new cyclic redundant codes using same as that in transmitter in order to detect bit errors in communication system which uses cyclic redundant codes and lattice codes by means of decoding of information data, which are output signal of Viterbi decoder, and information data from decoded cyclic redundant codes. Device adds new cyclic redundant codes instead of previous cyclic redundant codes in order to re-code new cyclic redundant codes as lattice code. This results in possibility of precise measurement of bit error rate. Device decreases probability of false detection of transmission rate as maximal transmission rate due to measurement of transmission rate depending on bit error rate. EFFECT: increased precision of measurement, increased efficiency of communication system, decreased probability of false detection of transmission rate as maximal transmission rate, decreased power usage in terminal device, increased reception rate. 2 cl, 4 dwg
