FIELD: textile industry. SUBSTANCE: printing composition containing dye, substance destroying dye of background, water, and thickener is laid on dyed background, dried, plastically set in saturated steam medium, and washed. Invention is distinguished by that textile material contains naturally colored flax bast, applied dye is active and/or direct dyes (0.2- 10 g/kg), and substance destroying dye of background is 30% hydrogen peroxide (10-100 g/kg) supplemented by hydrogen peroxide stabilizer (10-100 g/kg), whereas contents of water and thickener are 50-200 and up to 1000 g/kg, respectively, and drying is carried out until residual moisture content of printed material is attained 20-60%.
