DOUBLE-STAGE RABBIT CAGE Russian patent published in 1999 - IPC

FIELD: rabbit breeding. SUBSTANCE: rabbit cage has carcass with roof, lower and upper stages with floor and doors. Vertical vent shaft is extending through stages. Breeding cells with heaters are mounted on vertical shaft so as to be moved and fixed in vertical plane. Prior to giving birth to infant rabbits, female rabbit is put into vacant stage, where breeding cell is lowered to bottom level. Upon giving birth to infant rabbits and termination of period of keeping infant rabbits in breeding cell, breeding cell is raised to upper position and fixed there. Such construction allows breeding cell to be permanently kept within cage stage to avoid cage contamination. EFFECT: simplified construction and improved rabbit keeping conditions. 5 cl, 7 dwg
