FIELD: medicine, homeopathy. SUBSTANCE: invention relates to development of complex homeopathic agents used for treatment of patients with atherosclerosis. The agent has Arnica jodatum C3, Gelsemium sempervrens C3, Anamirta C3, Aurum jodatum C6, Barium jodatum C6, Barium chloratum C6 being all components are taken at equal parts. An agent can be made as sugar granules. Treatment of 45 patients with the agent resulted to decreased stenocardia attacks by 30%, positive dynamics of cholesterol level and the total blood cholesterol is decreased by 25%, the level of antiatherogenic lipoproteins that are responsible for removal of cholesterol from the vessel wall is increased up to value of physiological level (0.9-1.0 mmole/l in human plasma).
