PRESTRESSED SHELL STRUCTURE Russian patent published in 2000 - IPC

Abstract RU 2144119 C1

FIELD: mechanical and construction engineering. SUBSTANCE: shell structure can be used in various branches of mechanical and construction engineering where frames are employed in function of load-bearing member for installing units and assemblies of motors and transmission components. Prestressed shell structure is made in the form of metal shell, flexible shell with central strips located in them, endless side strips with positive radius of curvature relative to central strip. Central strips can be installed at angle of 0 to 45 deg. All strips can be made with damping coating or they can be of composite structure in different set of modules. Deformation sensor can be installed on shell with positive feedback connection with source of pressure. Application of aforesaid embodiment of shell structure allows for improving stability of load-bearing members of beam or pulling component at increase of pressure when twisting forces are created. EFFECT: higher efficiency. 5 cl, 4 dwg
