CONVERTIBLE CLOTHING Russian patent published in 2000 - IPC

FIELD: production of multipurpose clothing. SUBSTANCE: clothing is made in the form of jacket with sleeves having detachable cuffs. Zipper fastening parts are attached along lower edge of cuffs and zipper fastening parts and decorative buttons are attached to side edge of cuffs. Decorative shaped pocket flaps are fastened to jacket strips by part of textile zipper fastener extending along upper edge of flap and by part of textile fastener positioned on strip. Parts of zipper fasteners are disposed on lower shaped edge of pocket flaps and decorative buttons are disposed on side edges. Upon detachment of pocket and cuff flaps and successive attachment of cuff edges by textile zipper fastener, attachment of upper edge of pocket flaps to cuff lower edge, connection of parts of textile zipper fastener to lower shaped edge of pocket flaps, veil is formed. Veil may be fastened to article neck portion by decorative buttons, which are disposed on lower veil edge upon conversion of clothing, and by hanging loops stitched into article neck portion under collar. EFFECT: wider operational capabilities and wider range of clothings obtained by conversion, simplified construction. 4 dwg
