FIELD: medicine. SUBSTANCE: device is used for extracorporeal treatment of blood by irradiation of blood with ultraviolet rays. The device has housing with ultraviolet irradiation source installed in it and flow-through vessel positioned on housing hole. One wall of vessel facing the ultraviolet irradiation source is made of polymer nontoxic transparent film. Facility for creation of excess pressure in vessel amounting to at least 150 mm of water column is positioned on blood tube coupled to outlet pipe connection of vessel.
