FIELD: analyzing industrial emissions and exhaust gases from motor vehicles and power plants. SUBSTANCE: gas analyzer has case, base with gas inlet channels, burner, collecting electrode, and outlet gas line. Collecting electrode is made in the form of truncated cone whose larger side faces burner and smaller one mounts cylindrical insert attached to it. Secured to insert is smaller side of inverted truncated cone whose larger side mounts cylindrical damping chamber. The latter communicates with outlet gas line. Truncated cones are equal in height; insert length does not exceed one third of cone height; angle of inclination of side surfaces of cones to horizontal plane is 15 to 80 deg. EFFECT: improved stability of burning; increased sensitivity. 1 dwg
