FIELD: plastic metal working, possibly mass production of cut-through expanded network from strip or band blank. SUBSTANCE: method comprises steps of simultaneously forming designed number of stripes along the whole effective width of strip or band blank; simultaneously intermittently lengthwise notching said stripes at shifting by half-pitch of notch; simultaneously shaping notches for making cut-through shaped blank; expanding blank until achieving predetermined size of network with desired shape of meshes. EFFECT: enhanced efficiency at waste free working of blank material, possibility of making different shape of network meshes from rhombic until square ones and openwork formation of network meshes. 7 cl, 13 dwg
