AGROBRIDGE Russian patent published in 2000 - IPC

FIELD: agricultural engineering. SUBSTANCE: agrobridge has girder 1 mounted on self-propelled cars 2, platforms 3 mounted for movement along girder 1 and equipped with rotary wheels 5 for attaching agricultural tools on them, cabin 32 with auxiliary power and processing equipment. Movable platforms 3 of agrobridge are provided with wheels 5 hung on screws. Vertical rodlike guides and jacks are fixed on lower surfaces of wheels for moving agricultural tools along rodlike guides. Agricultural tools are secured on auxiliary fastening member with sleeves sliding along rods. Rotary wheels 5 have four similar recesses positioned in upper parts of wheels 5 and sized to receive balls. Recesses are equally spaced from center of wheel 5 and positioned in two mutually perpendicular diameters. Depth of recesses exceeds half the diameter of balls. Movable platforms 3 are equipped with annular rigid faceplates having four holes configured for receiving balls and arranged so as to come into engagement with balls projecting parts.
