SUBSTANCE: described is composition for photoprotection of skin and/or hair which comprises (i) filtering solubilized system composed of 4- methylbenzylidene-camphor (compound A), 4-(tert-butyl)-4- methoxydibenzoyl methane (compound B) and mixture thereof, and (ii) filtering solubilizing system composed of homomethyl salicylate (compound C), octyl salicylate (compound D) and mixture thereof, said system being in amount sufficient for solubilization of entire system therein. Said compounds are contained in cosmetically acceptable carrier, especially of oil-in-water type. Also described are composition solubilizer and method of protection of skin and/or hair from ultraviolet irradiation.
