FIELD: small arms training in shooting skills and technique. SUBSTANCE: target of shooting simulator with scanning beams has optical head mounted on muzzle of training weapon, screen, recording equipment, time counter, computer, unit of sweep of laser beams, reference photodetectors. Two slits crossing optical axis are made in diaphragm of optical head set in focal plane of lens. Unit of sweep is manufactured in the form of rotary drum with mirrors that scan two parallel beams on screen. Lines of scanning beams pass through reference photodetectors mounted on the left and right sides of screen. Computer makes it possible to determine coordinates of aiming point by time measured by counter. EFFECT: improved reliability and precision of measurement of coordinates in simulator with long extent. 5 dwg
