FIELD: equipment for hand-held dies. SUBSTANCE: die holder has outer casing and die carrier casing mounted for sliding within outer casing against biasing force exerted by spring. Latch member is positioned on outer casing which is provided with protective closure having resilient tongue. Upon mounting of closure on die carrier casing, casing may be moved to back position and fixed in this position by latching tongue with rim.
