FIELD: manufacture of ceramic products used as fire supply in furnaces or as facing stones in replacing marble or granite. SUBSTANCE: refractory ceramic material comprises finely dispersed matrix with ceramic inclusions. Inclusions are made in the form of plastic granule fractions of 2.5-10 mm. Granule material has refractoriness and thermal expansion coefficient is greater and shrinkage is less than corresponding matrix parameters. Granule to matrix weight ratio ranges from 4:1 to 3:2. Granules and matrix may have different color range and pattern in final products. EFFECT: greater density, strength and improved refractoriness of ceramics and wider range of consumer properties. 3 cl, 1 tbl
