FIELD: railway track system. SUBSTANCE: pivoted rail joint is intended for use in overhead monorail systems. According to invention, inserted between adjacent lower flanges of rail is filler member made of steel. Lower part of filler member is made in the form of turning support passing along lower flange of monorail. Turning support accommodates pad with swinging head included in pad. Aforesaid components allow for creation of turning support possessing high longitudinal and lateral stability. This is achieved due to provision of wing-like segments, guide slots, and keys. Application of aforesaid embodiment of pivoted rail joint makes overhead monorail system suitable for transportation of heavy loads. EFFECT: higher efficiency. 7 cl, 23 dwg
