FIELD: materials for means of individual protection, applicable in bulletproof vests, helmets intended for protection against bullets of hand firearm and against fragments. SUBSTANCE: bulletproof material has two or several packs, each comprising a layer of fluoroplastic film and layers of fabric of highly strong fibre. The fabric layers of the external pack are composed of pieces whose dimensions and density of fabric weabing provide for jerking-through of fabric threads without their tearing at penetration of bullet into fabric layers. Fabric is so selected that the value of force for dynamic jerking-through of fabric threads would be within 0.6 to 0.9 of the force for dynamic tearing of these threads. EFFECT: enhanced protective properties of material over the entire surface of article manufactured from it. 3 dwg
