FIELD: agriculture, in particular, animal farming. SUBSTANCE: method involves introducing differentiated doses of ionol into feed and giving this feed for 5 days before and after occurrence of one of different technological stress-factors. Technological factors, such as weighing, sanitary treatment, changing of feeding phase at 1st growing period, require dose of 20 mg/kg of live weight per day. Stresses associated with forming of young animal groups, caudotomy, transfer from 1st growing period house into 2nd growing period house require dose of 30 mg/kg of live weight. In case of occurrence of transport stress, dose of 30 mg/kg of live weight per day is introduced into feed for 5 days. Method allows stress state of young cattle to be reduced and, as a result, meat product loss to be reduced. EFFECT: provision for keeping and improving meat factor of young cattle. 13 tbl, 2 ex
