FIELD: microbiological and pulp-and-paper industry. SUBSTANCE: apparatus has casing with medium supply and discharge branch pipes, drive shaft mounted in casing, upper and lower disks mounted on shaft, and nonrigid conical filtering wall fixed between upper and lower disks, and drying cavity with ultraviolet radiation sources. Drying cavity is communicated via tangential branch pipe with pelletizing unit. Plasmolizing disk with annular grooves and conical shell is disposed above pelletizing unit. Flare angle of conical shell is directed to side opposite to that of conical filtering wall. Nutrient yeast is produced by concentration and washing of raw material, delivering washed material for plasmolysis, dispersion, vitaminization, drying and pelletizing of produced nutrient yeast. Improved quality of product is provided by yeast liquefaction and release of ergosterol with further conversion of it into vitamin D(2). EFFECT: simplified construction, increased efficiency and improved quality of product. 4 dwg
