FIELD: livestock-breeding. SUBSTANCE: ration of cattle nurslings is completed with zeolite activated for 6 hr at 130 C and characterizing by grind fineness 0.01 to 0.5 mm, which is applied in amounts 0.4 to 0.7 g per 1 kg of live weight in association with following trace element salts, mg/g a day: copper sulfate 29-30, zinc sulfate 6.5-7.0, cobalt chloride 4.5-5.0, potassium iodide 0.45-0.5. Addition of activated zeolites alone raises average daily increase in weight in calves by 12.2% and the same in association with trace element salts by 14.3%, while fodder consumption is reduced by 8.7-10.4%. EFFECT: accelerated growth of cattle nurslings. 2 tbl
