FIELD: cleaning of heat surfaces of heat exchanger. SUBSTANCE: the sootblower with axially moving blower has a blow-off tube and a running platform provided with a running rail and attached to the wall of the heat exchanger. The blow-off tube on its front end is brought in its guide, and on its rear end it is connected to the blower carriage, which moves on the running rail. The vertical distance of the rail of the running platform to the front end of the tube is less than that to the rear end held by the blower carriage.
