FIELD: optical instrumentation, development and design of observation optical instruments. SUBSTANCE: given device is based on multiple transit of rays through mirror system in which number of cycles n depends on value of angle βn of setting of lens system with respect to axis of reflecting lens or on presence and value of angle γn of setting of axis of reflecting ocular to same axis. Specific feature of invention lies in possibility of change of magnification of device without any adjustment, by deviation of device through angle αn from directivity vector on to object only. Simplified design of device makes it feasible to obtain up to 100X magnification and more with invariable compact dimensions with obtainment of intermediate lesser magnification and maintenance of high resolving power of device with its maximum magnification.
