FIELD: animal and poultry husbandry. SUBSTANCE: potassium succinate is cyclically introduced into feed ration to be given to mother animals beginning from 5-10 days before birth and stopping on 5-10th day after birth with daily dose 5 to 10 mg per 1 kg of animal live weight. After 8-12 days' pause, 5 to 20 mg/kg of additive is given over 28-32 days' period followed by equal-duration pause. When dealing with poultry, 5 to 20 mg/kg is added beginning from the third life day.
