FIELD: electrochemical investigations and equipment for them. SUBSTANCE: polarizing voltage is fed to electrochemical cell. Potential of indicating electrode is compared with specified one with the use of feedback amplifier. Voltage between output of amplifier and specified potential is divided by controlled voltage divider. Divided voltage is amplified by current and is supplied to current-measuring resistor. Gain factor of controlled divider is set minimal in this case and output potential of amplifier is normalized for certain range. Potential difference between output of amplifier and specified potential of indicating electrode is measured and obtained value is multiplied by established gain factor of controlled divider. Device for implementation of process includes feedback amplifier and current-measuring resistor connected with first inputs to indicating electrode, terminal for connection of first input of recorder linked to output of amplifier and terminal for connection of potential master control of indicating electrode and second input of recorder linked to second input of amplifier. Device is supplemented with controlled voltage divider placed between output and second input of amplifier, voltage follower placed in series between output of voltage divider and second lead-out of current-measuring resistor.
