FIELD: acoustic location systems. SUBSTANCE: invention is related to acoustic location systems intended for search for objects near extended separation boundary ( for fishing in layers near floor or surface ), for search for floating objects, for use in sea archeology, in geology ( search for iron and manganese concretions ), for control over underwater communications ( pipe- lines, cables and so on ), for nondestructive test of underwater parts of water- development works. Proposed active sonar includes two generators, indicator, key, power amplifier, reception-emission switch and inverse electroacoustic converter connected in series, stabilized platform mechanically coupled to inverse electroacoustic converter, preamplifier whose input is linked to second output of switch and to whose output first selective filter and detector connected in series and second selective filter are linked, adder whose two inputs are connected to outputs of generators and whose output is connected to input of key, pulse generator whose output is connected to controlling input of key, low-voltage limiter whose input is connected to output of selective filter placed in series, amplitude detector, time interval meter and time-to-control signal converter whose output is connected to controlling inputs of generators. Output of indicator is connected to input of pulse generator and second input of time interval meter. Output of key is connected to input of power amplifier. EFFECT: increased authenticity of detection of semi-sunk and sunk objects, increased range of search, enhanced productivity and reduced labor input in search operations. 3 dwg
